N&K celebrated their destination wedding at Villa Cipressi, one of the most romantic wedding venues in Varenna on Lake Como.
The day moved naturally between preparation, ceremony, garden portraits, a boat ride on the lake and an emotional evening reception. Villa Cipressi created a refined setting for the story, with terraced botanical gardens, stone paths, lake views and warm summer light shaping the atmosphere of the wedding.
As a Villa Cipressi wedding photographer, my focus was to document the rhythm of the day without forcing it: the quiet anticipation before the ceremony, the emotion of the vows, the movement through the gardens, the intimacy of the boat portraits and the energy of the celebration with family and friends.
A Lake Como wedding shaped by emotion and landscape
The ceremony took place with Lake Como and the gardens of Villa Cipressi as part of the visual story. The setting was elegant, but the strongest moments came from the people: the anticipation before the entrance, the vows, the reactions of the guests and the quiet exchanges between the couple.
Later in the day, the atmosphere shifted from ceremony to celebration. Floral details, table settings, speeches, laughter and evening light all became part of the narrative, creating a wedding story that felt refined without losing its natural emotional rhythm.
